Not Just a Waitress

A couple weeks ago when T.'s Ma was in town she treated me and T.'s sister to a pedicure. I've never had one before. It was pretty nice, actually. You go in, the incredibly fey front-door boy explains the procedure, then you sit in this big, comfy chair which has massagers built into the back and dangle your feet into a foot jacuzzi. It's a little tub of hot water with jets. Jets! Then the pedicure girls come over and attack your feet, massage them and then make your nails look pretty. They still look pretty!

You pick out your own nail polish from the pyramid of polish by the front door. I picked up one color, looked at the label: Ruby Kiss. Then I meandered over to the redder colors: Harlot and Sunset. Then I picked up one with a little more sparkle to it: I'm Not Just A Waitress. Hee. Isn't that wonderful? So, this is what I'm Not Just A Waitress looks like:

Trite but true

You know, things can *always* get worse. Always. You may think you topped out but it's unlikely. However, it's important to remember that things can always get better. Always. And, it's just as important to know that you may be the last person to realize when your life is really changing.
