Comic Sans The internet is fun. A couple weeks ago, someone on a web list I am subscribed to asked what other "fun" fonts there were besides Comic Sans. I thought it was a pretty stupid question, so I said, "First of all, there's nothing 'fun' about Comic Sans. Comic Sans is the font of choice for killer clowns. Remember that." Not to be a total asshole, I followed up with links to some font sites including Chank who is definitely the king of "fun fonts" if there ever was one. Like, woo! Apparently, I'm being quoted. I got an email from a guy who asked me if I was the author of the above quote. I said that I was and asked if I was in trouble. He sent me a link to a Typographica article regarding Comic Sans and the associated comments section where I am quoted. The quote is linked to a usenet posting for some group I never heard of and someone is using it in their signature. I think that's pretty great. It's like evesdropping on a conversation where you suddenly realize that they're talking about you only it's good stuff.
