Still sick.I think I have bronchitis. Ew, it's nasty.
Tomorrow I'm supposed to show up for jury duty. I wonder if I can get out of it for being sick. They'll probably want a doctor's note or something. Fat chance of that without health insurance.
Yesterday, I was feeling a bit perkier. I managed to cook some dinner and then go out for a healing beer with an old friend. I haven't seen him in ten years. Before that we hadn't seen each other since the summer before our 8th grade where we pretty much hung out together for the three whole months. He was a good guy and still is. It was great to chat with him.
I think I overdid it though. I had a hard time sleeping last night and woke up feeling worse. Today I have slept, drank coffee, slept and T. went and fetched me some delicious chicken soup and corn bread from the local grocery. It was so good.
Now I'm trying to decide whether to do stuff with my afternoon in a half-assed way or try and get some more sleep. I think I better sleep if I can. I hate being sick.
