[4.3.99] Final transmission from Los Angeles.

It's about time to pack up the computer. Then we start packing the truck and then begin cleaning. We'll get a walk-through with our landlords and figure out how much of our deposit we'll get back. Then we'll take off down Venice Boulevard, stop at the Shell Station on Washington and Centinela, take the 90 to the 405 North. Traffic may be busy depending on when we get out of here.

It's sunny right now but it's been raining off and on. We're hoping it doesn't rain. We'll go out past the Getty Center and then through the grapevine, a very twisty bit of highway that marks the last of Los Angeles. We'll make our way to I-5 and then it's a straight shot to our new home.

Thanks for hanging out with me and enjoying L.A. Stories. There is a lot I'll miss about L.A. but it's not going to be hard to leave it behind. It's the people we've met that makes this hard. If you need something to read, why don't you go and start from the beginning. Or, join my mailing list for updates from the new home and the new journal.

See you on the other side,
æ
