    I had plenty of things on my "to-do" list today. I've only done one of them. Last night, I worked on a project but didn't get too far because I started getting a headache looking at my monitor. (Gee, big surprise there, since I spent over eight hours of every workday staring at a big ol monitor.) I sent a note out to Rainy Day Confidential and then crawled into bed.

    Then today good intentions had to take a back seat yet again. But, you tell me, what's more fun: watching cartoons and eating cinnamon buns followed by a couple hours of playing Crash Bandicoot with your best friend or pushing pixels around a computer screen? Well, sometimes pixel-pushing is fun but after the week I had, I needed this mindless break. How much to PowerPuff Girls rock?

    T. and I did go over to Northwest Portland to pick up a housewarming gift for a coworker. He's throwing a party tonight and I'm looking forward to it. (Must remember to pick up booze on the way out.) I don't know how many of my fellow grunt workers might be there but I'm sure things will be interesting.

    We splurged on some brass, gorrilla-shaped hooks for jackets and a row of smaller monkey hooks for my collection of little purses (never knew, did ya?). They are so perfect. I don't think the gorilla hooks will find a place here but definitely in the next home. I also got a combination flask and cigarette case just for the hell of it and a little sushi plate for use around the kitchen.
